Breast Center

Nurse Smiling at Patient

The Breast Center was developed by physicians, technologists and nurses and was designed to meet and exceed, the needs and expectations of our patients.

Our team of healthcare professionals (including radiologists, registered mammogram technologists, ultrasonographers, pathologists and surgeons) work together to provide breast screening and timely diagnosis and treatment of breast abnormalities through comprehensive support and breast health education.

OUR COMMITMENT to excellent Patient Care goes beyond diagnostic services. Our Breast Center team is committed to providing comprehensive support and breast health education to patients and families through:

  • Surgeons
  • Nurse Navigators
  • Our full-time Breast Care Coordinator who provides personal guidance and resources to support and help you “navigate” through the healthcare system.
  • Radiologists who read our mammograms are subspecialists whose refined and detailed expertise can help detect even the most minute change in breast tissue – catching cancer at the earliest possible point, when chances for treatment and cure are best.
  • Medical Director of the Breast Center/Chief Quality Officer Dr. Jennifer Daniels, MD, F.A.C.S. has been the Medical Director of the Breast Center at Ohio Valley since its inception in 2014. She also serves on the Medical Executive Committee and Peer Review Committee at Ohio Valley. Dr. Daniels practices general surgery, including advanced laparoscopic procedures (colon resections and hernia repair) and also performs minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins and venous reflux.

Best in Breast Care
